Loyal supporters of the pop star are demanding that a person who breached a fence and touched the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating video shows the Australian man pushing past photographers and charging at Grande while the performers made its way down a event pathway flanked by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being arrested", though legal records indicated that he was due to be present on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram account includes videos of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney concert in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is obviously a legal violation," stated an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Fans Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Numerous supporters blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring hundreds.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote one more message on Instagram.

Some supporters also questioned security officers at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals called for social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's content.

Response and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the intruder. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a light pink sequin dress at the event while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of last year in the UK, and received a dozen award recognitions, winning several for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
